The Scan|Design Foundation Copenhagen Classroom Program was established in 2005 and the first Copenhagen Classroom was held August 1-31, 2006.
The Copenhagen Classroom is a new study abroad, summer program designed to offer students the unique opportunity to study the Danish language while also learning about Danish culture, politics, and history within the cultural context of Denmark itself. The program includes four, week-long mini-courses that address different areas of Danish expertise ( for example, architecture and urban planning; cinema; or environmental policy). Topics vary from year to year and attract participation from students who are majoring in diverse fields of study.
