Scan Design Foundation has partnered with Northwest Danish Association (NWDA) since 2007. The Foundation has provides support for Danish cultural programming and social services by NWDA in the Pacific Northwest. These programs include:
Danish Language Classes
Scan Design Foundation supports Danish Language Classes by NWDA. The virtual classes are from beginner to advanced levels and are offered year-round.
Danish Author Panel Discussion on The Copenhagen Trilogy
In March 2021, Scan Design Foundation partnered with NWDA to present a panel discussion on the English translation of The Copenhagen Trilogy by Danish author Tove Ditlevsen.
National Danish Book Club and Literary Event Series
The purpose of the National Danish Book Club & Literary Event Series is to explore a selection of Danish literature translated into English. In partnership with other groups across the U.S., Scan Design Foundation is helping to fund this virtual series.
