Sustainable Transportation Abroad Program: Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Public Transport

SDF's partnership with PSU first began in 2007. Over the years SDF has provided support for PSU classes, fellowships, and scholarships. In partnership with the Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC), over the last few years PSU has developed the "Study Abroad in Denmark Program: Sustainable Transportation Abroad - Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Public Transport" with support from SDF. The grant from SDF has helped provide needs-based scholarships for students to learn first-hand about Denmark's unique transportation system and bring applicable knowledge back to Portland.
